MRE Cares
Business with a purpose.
Purpose-driven giving that goes beyond the transaction. Because the communities we serve deserve more than just a service.
Our StoryThe story behind MRE Cares.
MRE Property Management was built on a simple belief: that doing good business and doing good in the world are not mutually exclusive. From the beginning, our commitment to the DFW community has been woven into how we operate. Not as an afterthought, but as a foundation.
“We are not just managing properties. We are stewarding neighborhoods, relationships, and trust.”
In 2026, we took that commitment a step further. MRE Cares was established as our formal initiative for structured, intentional giving. It creates a consistent, company-supported channel to contribute to organizations that are genuinely changing lives in our region.
Our inaugural featured organization is House of Hope for Autism, a Texas-based nonprofit dedicated to serving children, young adults, and families living with autism. Their work reflects everything we believe giving should be: purposeful, personal, and pointed toward a better tomorrow.

A sit down with House of Hope for Autism.
A conversation with founder Amanda Skaggs and MRE Property Management about the mission, the community, and what this next chapter means.
Filling a void. Building a place to belong.
Some organizations do not just fill a need. They fill a void. House of Hope for Autism was founded on the recognition that families navigating the autism journey deserve more than clinical appointments and waiting lists. They deserve a place built specifically for them.
Founder Amanda Skaggs created House of Hope for Autism to be exactly that: a dedicated space where children and young adults with autism can access specialized services, build social skills through peer modeling, and receive support from professionals in speech therapy, sensory therapy, and beyond.
What sets this organization apart is its vision of the whole family. House of Hope for Autism is designed to be a respite, a place families can leave with renewed confidence, practical tools, and a genuine sense of hope for what is ahead.
MRE Property Management sat down with Amanda to hear directly from the founder about the mission, the community being served, and what this next chapter means for House of Hope for Autism.

Business with purpose.
MRE Cares is MRE Property Management’s structured corporate giving initiative. A company-funded, internally driven commitment to support one selected nonprofit organization per year, with both financial contribution and visibility support. This is not a public fundraising campaign. It is simply who we are.
Company-Funded Giving
Every contribution under MRE Cares is funded directly by MRE Property Management. No solicitation of clients, tenants, or the public. This is our investment to make, on behalf of the communities we serve.
Visibility & Awareness Support
Beyond financial contribution, MRE Cares offers platform visibility for our featured organization. We use our digital presence, communications, and professional network to amplify their mission where appropriate and when welcomed.
Intentional Selection
Each year’s featured organization is selected based on mission alignment, community impact, and organizational integrity. Not popularity or convenience. The process is internal, deliberate, and values-led.
MRE Cares is not a public fundraising effort. We do not collect donations on behalf of nonprofit organizations, and we do not solicit contributions from clients, tenants, vendors, or the general public. Our giving is an internal company commitment: structured, private, and purpose-driven.
A thoughtful, annual approach.
MRE Cares operates on a simple, consistent annual cycle. One nonprofit. One year. One focused commitment. Here is how that cycle works from selection through contribution.
Internal Selection
Each year, our leadership evaluates and selects one nonprofit organization whose mission reflects the values and community priorities of MRE Property Management.
Year of Support
The selected organization is our featured partner for the full calendar year. Visibility support and awareness efforts are extended throughout the year as appropriate.
Year-End Contribution
A financial contribution is made at year-end. The amount is determined internally based on company performance and giving capacity.
Carry Forward
At the close of each year, the process resets. A new organization is evaluated and selected, ensuring our giving remains fresh, intentional, and community-relevant.
A growing legacy of giving.
Each year adds a new chapter to the MRE Cares story. Below is the record of our featured organizations and milestones as this initiative grows.
